At Chye Joo Construction, our Safety Captains who trained and empowered by top management play a crucial role in fostering a safety-first culture. The purposes of having safety captains are to:
- Empowering and changing the mindsets of progress team towards safety
- Shared responsibility should be taken by Site Staffs and Supervising team additionally besides the WSH Team
- More eyes to intervene when there is a safety lapse on the ground
- Work team should not turn a blind eye to safety lapses
- We can achieve outstanding compliance when our progress team is as safety conscious as our WSH Team
- Integrate WSH as part of construction work
